Saturday May 8, 2010
Today I woke up in all too much excitement. I am going to get a new little birdie :). So I am going to go clean a cage to carry him home in, and then get ready for our journey to Phoenix.
UGH!!!! I absolutely hate driving on the I17 on Saturday afternoons. It is the worst, however it seemed to be that way for a few people today, my friend Ashley said that it was same thing for her today. I hate STUPID DRIVERS!!!!!! On a good note though, I have my little budgie, which I found out is NOT the same as a parakeet, she is soo adorable and soo loving. I love it. Her name is Sunnie. Well I am going to go enjoy the rest of my night with my new little family member. :) Good night all.

Friday May 7th, 2010

Friday, YAY! Friday's I do not have any kids in the morning, other than my daughter of course. It means that I get to sleep in until Alyssa wakes me up. :) Friday's also means that I might or might not get Anthoni(the 9 month old boy) later on in the afternoon.
I woke up to my daughter, who finally slept in her room all night, asking me to get her more milk. This was at 7:00 A.M. So I rolled out of bed and began my journey for the day. I went to the kitchen got her some milk, and then did my morning rounds.
My morning rounds are consisted of this: Opening the arcadia door, uncovering the bird's cage, feeding the three betta's, letting the dog out of her crate to go potty, shutting the arcadia door, getting the bird's food and water dish cleaning and refilling them, and then letting the dog back into the house. From there I usually get Alyssa, and whichever kids are here in the morning, something to eat. Then jump on the computer for a little bit.
It is now 10:02 A.M, I have done my morning rounds, read a book a few times to my daughter, and am about to go to do my 10:30 training with my bird. I just got my bird, Shania, about a month ago. I have been working on hand taming her, and thought that I was doing okay being as she would jump on my finger and let me take her out. Well I found this forum that is dedicated to just budgies, and they pretty much informed me that everything I was doing was incorrect. :-\ Needless to say I have restarted the hand training process and this is my 2nd week into it.
4:27 P.M- So far my day has been uneventful, except for the fact that my daughter has been crying all day. Terrible two's please go away! My dishwasher has been broken for about three weeks now, it will not drain, (we rent a house) we have been "on the list" since day one of it breaking and just NOW are we hearing something from them... (I hate to wash dishes by hand, so I don't....paper plates and using all of the dishes we have :-\) Well, the plumber is coming later today so I spent the rest of the day cleaning the kitchen so it doesn't look like I am a complete slob. (I am not a fan of cleaning and am rather lazy when it comes to the house work.... I made a promise to myself however that once this is fixed and we SUPER clean the house for an up coming inspection that I will stay on it everyday and even set up a schedule of my chores and what I need to do every day and post it on the fridge in plain site until I am used to it and will know that I will do it) Any who, I spent the rest of the day cleaning the kitchen, and am now preparing the grill to go outside and cook up some hotdogs and hamburgers :) The plumber is supposed to be here between 4 and 5 so ANY minute now.
11:29 P.M- Just got home, my mom said that she wasn't going to be here Sunday for Mother's Day so I was already going into town so I would drop her present off. The plumber came YAY!!! My dishwasher works again :). Went into town and ate dinner with my Mom and Step-Dad. That was an interesting time, my mother seemed to be a bit more intoxicated than need be. Got done eating and went back to my mom's house for a while, then after an all too long visit with my Mother, I went to my sister Steph's house to get her truck. My car is broken, so in order for me to get to Phoenix tomorrow I need a vehicle. :) Love my sister. She gave me her old Gazelle... can't wait to start using that. Now I am going to eat a little snack and relax before heading to bed. Off to get my new budgie tomorrow :). Goodnight world.

Introduction to my blog

This is the first blog that I have ever done. I just recently got a budgie/parakeet, and I am doing a training journal. My bird is not frustrating or stressful at all to me, but writing that journal was kind of a stress reliever. So here I am with my first blog. I do not mind if people do not read this, as this is just a nice way for me to vent and let out all of my frustrations, problems, joys, and events from my day.
I am a stay at home mom of a two year old little girl, she will be three in November of 2010. I have been with her since the day she was born. She is my only baby, and because of this I have made the rookie mistake of spoiling her beyond belief, and it is biting me in the butt. I am not one of those mom's who have a ton of money so I run all about and just do whatever, whenever, I am the one who is all about their child and will sacrifice anything I have to, in order to give her anything she wants or needs. So to do that we needed more income than the money my boyfriend, the father of my daughter, was bringing in. When Alyssa, my daughter, was about 6 months old I started watching two little girls. Their Mother worked with my brother at a local prison in town, and he told her that I was just sitting at home everyday to give me a call and see if I was interested, being as one of her children just had a bad accident in the daycare she was in.
These kids, I should have known that they were going to be TROUBLE. The first time they came to my house, they nearly knocked down my T.V, and that was WITH their mother there. Since then they have done so many unthinkable things, it is ridiculous. I am not going to name any of them because even a small list will be too long. I know I know, you are saying so why not just stop watching them? Well in the beginning I just said it was because they were new here they are trying to test their limits, by the time I realized that, NOPE, this is just them it was too late, we needed the income to be able to pay our bills and make ends meet.
So here I am two years later still watching these two little girls, (I am about to lose one of them due to Kindergarten, and the other one half of the time due to head start.) my two year old daughter, who has picked up some VERY naughty habits from these two, and another little boy who is 9 months old(with the occasional watch of one or two of his sisters).
